About Me

Dayna Lea

For the last 20 years, I have been bringing my clients visions to reality by creating timeless, classic portraits they can cherish for generations to come. If you can dream it, I can shoot it. I grew up in a small town in Maine which offered me the most beautiful locations to create breathtaking pieces of photographic art all while developing close knit relationships with my clients and community. Those connections are priceless to me and I look forward to making those memories with you!

my commitment to you

These days, the trend is to deliver galleries full of images that are all edited in the same style, lighting and aesthetic. When my clients choose to hire me, I feel it is of utmost importance that they receive every penny's worth when delivering their finished product. Each and every photo of your gallery will be edited in a unique and different way, so that you may have a wide variety of not just poses and moments, but mood, aesthetic and originality. This way, you won't feel pressed to choose just one or two prints to hang on your walls.

While my work may portray a seriousness, I feel it is important for my clients to know that working with me is easy, laid back and fun! I pride myself on making my clients feel relaxed and free to be their authentic selves. My sense of humor is broad and my mind is always open. The most important part of a shoot, is capturing people at their best. And that means they must feel their best. I promise I will do whatever it takes to make you feel comfortable.

I do this by listening to you, the client, and working with you in the ways best suited for your comfort level and personality. When it comes to children, I let them lead me. I prefer to shoot in a location that is familiar to them. Letting children be themselves never disappoints. Parents don't need to worry about posing, having their child sit still or smiling straight at the camera. Your child's job is to have fun and be themselves. It's my job to document and capture them doing just that.
